Apricots

Apricots originate from China. Alexander the Great was the one who brought them to Southern Europe, and, moreover, the Romans and Greeks called them «golden apples» and «golden eggs of the sun». Peaches

Peaches may originate from China, but nowadays the peach tree is the most cultivated fruit tree in the world, right after the apple tree. Pears
